Self-improvement is a never-ending process. The people who focus on it live a much longer, happier and a more prosperous life.

What are you doing now to improve your life even though we are in the middle of a pandemic?

Your plan will likely include the following areas of improvement:

  1. Personal – image improvements
  2. Professional – career growth
  3. Family and. Friends – better relationships
  4. Wellness — eat healthier
  5. Spiritual – count your blessings
  6. Your living space

The first step in making improvements is knowing what you want to improve.

Here is a fun family exercise you can do together.

Turn off the TV, gather around, give everyone a piece of paper and pen and ask them to write down all the things they want to improve between now and the end of the year.

Then, each person will discuss what they want to improve and why they want to improve these things.

Write them down by category and discuss them as a family.  This is the time to reconnect and help each other improve.  This is not about being critical of each other, it’s about unity and helping one another.

The goal from this exercise is to live a happier, healthier and more productive life.

How to implement the desired improvements:

  1. Make a commitment to the improvement
  2. Come up with a plan of what needs to change or adjust
  3. Set a time for when the improvement will begin
  4. Celebrate once achieved!
